KASSO FEST: SKATE & SOUND
Bringing KASSO’s first full-scale U.S. event to Long Beach.
4,000–5,000 ATTENDEES | 30 PRO SKATERS | 2 DAYS | 6-WEEK SITE BUILD
THE PROJECT
KASSO came from Japan to Long Beach for its first full-scale U.S. event, bringing together professional skateboarding, live music, art, fashion and culture at Old Hall Plaza.
Time & Space served as a production partner, helping turn an unfinished site into a venue capable of hosting thousands of attendees, professional athletes, live entertainment and an international broadcast production.
THE PRODUCTION
Months of planning led into an approximately six-week site build.
Time & Space helped manage the production infrastructure and local execution, including site planning, permitting and city coordination, vendors, temporary infrastructure, production schedules, logistics, load-in and load-out, and on-site operations.
The result was a completely temporary festival environment built from the ground up.
THE RESULT
Approximately 4,000–5,000 people attended over two days, with 30 professional skaters competing across four custom skate courses.
KASSO made its full-scale U.S. debut in Downtown Long Beach, with the competition reaching an audience beyond the event through Red Bull TV.
